The 2011 Daktronics Ron Lenz National Men’s Soccer Player of the Year and the 2011 CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year, Mark Anderson is a two- time NCAA national statistical champion, having led the nation in assists as a freshman and goals as a senior. He was named Daktronics All-American in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and NSCAA All-American in 2009 and 2010. All-Sunshine State Conference in 2010 and 2011, he was the league’s Player and Offensive Player of the Year in 2011. He finished his career with 59 goals and 32 assists in 74 games, leaving him second in career goals and tied for first in assists. He played professionally in the North American Soccer League with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers and the Carolina Rail-Hawks and with Spennymoor Town in the English National League North, with whom he still continues his playing career. In addition, Anderson is employed with Northern Gas Networks since 2018.
