Wall of Honor
As a midfielder on the Barry soccer teams of 1987, 1988 and 1989, Dawn Wagner Gregor was a part of history. She was a member of the only Barry athletic team to qualify for an NCAA Division I Tournament in 1987, and was a key player on the landmark 1989 National Championship team. Gregor supplied consistent and heady play which is so crucial to a high-caliber team. Her solid overall play was recognized in the 1989 NCAA Division II Championships, when she was selected to the National All-Tournament Team.
Gregor?’s efforts in the classroom merited her being selected as an Academic All-American in 1987 and 1988, as well as Barry University’?s Athlete of the Year in 1989-90. Since her graduation in 1990, Gregor went on to become a chemistry teacher and women’?s soccer coach at Plantation High School.
