MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Head coach Allison Bustamante welcomes a 5-7 transfer guard to the women's basketball squad in senior Ally Cesarini for the 2026-27 season.

"Ally embodies the identity we're building—tough, disciplined, and impactful," Bustamante said. "She will anchor our defense, set the tone with her leadership, and separates herself offensively with elite off-ball movement."

The Great Lakes Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year at Lewis University, Cesarini started all 30 games for the 18-12 Flyers last season. She averaged 11.7 points, and led the team in rebounding at 6.0 per game and the conference in steals at 3.3 per game.

"I chose Barry because of the environment and the experience," Cesarini said. "It seems like a great school where everyone is friendly and where it can feel like home for my last year."

The Bucs are looking to get back to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament in 2026-27.
