MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Three Barry Buccaneers were selected to the Women's Basketball Academic All-District teams this season. Kendall Parker and Kornelia Ignerska were both recognized for their outstanding work in the classroom.
Parker, a senior from Plano, Texas, carries a 4.0 GPA as a master's student in theology. Playing in all 27 games and starting 19, she led the team with 11.4 points per game, shooting 34.8 percent from the three-point line and 81/8 percent from the free throw line. She chipped in 2.8 rebounds and1.7 assists per game.
Ignerska, a sophomore from Poznan, Poland, carries a 3.733 GPA as an undergraduate in accounting. She played in 27 games, starting 23, averaging 7.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. She tied for the team lead with 46 three-pointers and added a team-best 41 steals.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-District® teams require players to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA as both a undergraduate and graduate student, as well as play in 90 percent of a team's games or start at least 66 percent.
The Division II CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II Academic All-America® programs.
