LEXINGTON, Ky.—Heading into Sunshine State Conference (SSC) play, the Barry University volleyball team ranks 22nd in the newest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)/TARAFLEX National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II poll.
Barry (3-3) returns to Florida following a four-match weekend at the UAH Invitational in Huntsville, Ala. where the Bucs bested the University of Montevallo and Trevecca Nazarene University while falling to host University of Alabama-Huntsville and Anderson University.
The Buccaneers travel to Palm Beach Atlantic for their conference opener on Friday, Sept. 15 with first serve set for 7 p.m.
