Box Score 2 MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry University softball team took both games of an exhibition doubleheader with the Seahawks of Keiser University on Saturday (9-2 and 4-0) at Buccaneer Field.

Game 1
- B4: The Buccaneers started a string of three consecutive innings scoring three runs in a frame. With one out, Mac Stone-Folmar singled to second base before Cassandra Lee homered to left center. Hayley Pasma scored an unearned run when Brooklyn Rushton reached on a fielding error. | Barry 3, Keiser 0
- B5: Becka Mellor singled to right field and Harper Bunn beat out a grounder to shortstop. Both Bucs came home on Taylor Thompson's triple to left center. Thompson scored when Stone-Folmar lined out to center field for the sacrifice fly. | Barry 6, Keiser 0
- T6: The Seahawks spoiled the shutout bid for Buccaneer starter Maci Barnhart. Molly Reid led off with a single and stole second. Lacee Travens reached on a fielder's choice before Barnhart got swinging strike three on the next two Seahawks. Top of the order Macy Schaff doubled in two runs, but Tess McGann was robbed of an RBI basehit when Sofia Chamorro made a leaping grab of her line shot towards third base. | Barry 6, Keiser 2
- B6: Barry scored three more runs on two hits. Chamorro reached on an error and Cheyenn Fulton pinch ran. Rushton singled down the left field line. Angel Villanueva sacrificed her teammates to second and third. Becka Mellor reached on a fielder's choice, sac bunt, stole second, and drove in a run with Fulton crossing the plate. Rushton advanced to third, stole home. Thompson finished the scoring with a sacrifice fly to bring Mellor home. | Barry 9, Keiser 2

- B1: Taylor Thompson tripled to open the inning and came home on Cassandra Lee's grounder to second base. Rylee Lord homered to deep left field. | Barry 2, Keiser 0
- B6: The Bucs collected four hits to plate two runs. Becka Mellor single through the right side and Harper Bunn singled down the left field line. Hanna Senerchia's single to left center brought Mellor home from third. Hayley Pasma had an RBI single after Senerchia stole third. | Barry 2, Keiser 0
NOTEWORTHY:
- Maci Barnhart tossed a complete game while striking out 13 Seahawks.
- Cassandra Lee retired the first seven Seahawks she faced in Game Two while striking out five.
- Haelee Angelico retired the first nine Seahawks she face in relief. Only a bunt single by Schaff leading off the 7th spoiled the perfect outing.
- Nine different Buccaneers had hits in Game Two.
- Becka Mellor and Harper Bunn collected multiple hits in the opener.
