ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference announced their 2026 softball awards on Wednesday afternoon. Mya Tucker, Serah Shafer, and Sarah Langlie were all honored on All-Conference teams. Voting is done by the league coaches.

Tucker highlighted the honors for the Buccaneers as she was named a First-Team member and was also named to the All-Defensive team. It was a breakout season for the sophomore who led the SSC in hits with 71. Tucker led the team in hits, runs scored (50), triples (3), total bases (102), stolen bases (31) at bats (172), and slugging percentage (.593). She improved in every offensive category, most notably almost doubling her batting average to .413, while entering the top-10 in hits, total bases, and runs scored for a single season. She had an elite glove locking down the green with 121 putouts, second most on the team, and adding four assists with a perfect fielding percentage. The sophomore had the longest on base streak this season at 28-straight.

Shafer had a dominate first season at Barry and was named to a Second-Team member. The senior tallied 69 hits, falling just short in the conference to teammate Tucker. Her speed added 21 stolen bases and had an on-base percentage of .481 while hitting a team-leading .416, good for sixth best in the league. Shafer had 26 multi-hit games, which tied a single season record for most in program history. There were just seven games this season in which the speedy Shafer did not reach base or score in the same game. The Iowa-native had 107 putouts and 94 assists, with nine errors, yielding a .957 fielding percentage.

Langlie had another standout year earning her second straight All-SSC honor, landing on the Second-Team this season. The sophomore held a huge role as the main backstop for the Bucs, while also starting double digit games in the outfield. Langlie led the team in RBI (53) predominately hitting behind the two All-Conference members above. The Eau Gallie-native continued to be a doubles machine just one shy of matching her freshmen year with 16. She slugged five home runs and had a .574 slug percentage, with a .370 batting average.
