MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Buccaneers open Sunshine State Conference play against Rollins College during Homecoming Week this Friday and Saturday at Buccaneer Field. Barry took 2-of-3 from the Tars in 2018 in Winter Park. Barry will host an undefeated Tars team that is second the SSC in batting average (.318) and first in ERA (0.19) through their first five games. The Buccaneers offense has really emerged, scoring 52 runs and hitting .323 through their first 10 games. Barry ranks in the top-two in each category among conference schools.

WHO IS ROLLINS:
Through five game the Tars are batting .318, with an on base percentage of .406, both the second highest totals in the SSC. They are also slugging .394, the third highest among SSC institutions. Overall Rollins pitching has maintained a league best 0.19 ERA. With three wins last weekend, Tars head coach Michelle Frew now sits at 803 -- 29th all-time in wins among NCAA Division II coaches. The Tars have started 5-0 on three other occasions in program history. In 2010 Rollins started 11-0, won the SSC and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. In 2013 Rollins started 8-0, and finished 44-8, but on the outside of a playoff berth. In 2015 the Tars started 15-0 and again made the NCAA Tournament.
