Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WINTER PARK, Fla.--The Barry Buccaneers sunk the Rollins Tars in a Sunshine State Conference softball doubleheader, winning game one 5-0 and taking the nightcap 4-3 in 11 innings.

In the opener, Barry struck for two runs in the second inning on Nora Conroy's two-run triple. The Bucs added three more runs in the sixth, with Conroy contributing a two-run single.

In the nightcap, a Carrie Roberts double scored Hillary Hamilton from first in the 11th inning to give the Bucs the win.

Lindsey Rhodes added her third home run of the season in the fourth inning.

Geralyn Elam (12-2) picked up both wins on the mound for the Bucs. She tossed a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts in the opener. In the nightcap, she threw six shutout innings in relief allowing three hits and striking out four.

Sarah Reeber (9-2) took the loss in the opener for the Tars. She allowed five runs, three earned, on six hits, while striking out one. The loss in the second game was charged against the Rollins team due to the international tie-breaker.

Barry (20-6, 5-1 SSC) will take on Florida Tech in Melbourne, Fla., on Sunday, while Rollins (14-6, 2-3 SSC) will face Lynn.
