MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Head coach Juston Furr announced the addition of big man William Humer to the roster for the 2026-27 season.
"William brings a lot of experience, both internationally and from the collegiate ranks," Furr said. "He carries a skill set that we value of being able to play both inside and out. His ability to create gravity and stretch the floor will provide us options on the offensive end. Defensively, he will be able to guard multiple positions and give us length at the rim. One of his best qualities is his character, and he possesses the Barry DNA that we look for. We are excited to coach William and welcome him to the 305!"
A 6-10 forward who has spent time in NCAA Division I with San Jose State and, most recently, Northern Colorado with limited minutes. In limited minutes over 23 games, Humer averaged 8.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, and three assists per 36 minutes.
During his sophomore season at San Jose State, Humer appeared in 25 games with starts in two. Humer recorded current career-high points with 11 twice, while shooting 46.2 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.
"I believe in Coach Furr and the vision he has for the program," Humer said. "I trust what he and the staff are building, and I believe we have a great chance to chase championships. I'm excited to get to work, compete, and be a part of it."
The Buccaneers are coming off a 17-13 record and a Sunshine State Conference Semifinals appearance.
