MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Novak Perovic was recognized for his outstanding work in the classroom, being selected to the Men's Basketball Academic All-District team this season.
Perovic, a senior from Belgrade, Serbia, carries a 4.0 GPA as a graduate student pursuing his MBA. Perovic was one of only two players to start every game, averaging 4.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. He shot 54.4 percent from the field and 70.0 percent from the line.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-District® teams require players to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA as both a undergraduate and graduate student, as well as play in 90 percent of a team's games or start at least 66 percent.
The Division II CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II Academic All-America® programs.
