Six Women's Tennis Players Selected for All-SSC Team

ORLANDO, Fla.- The Sunshine State Conference women's tennis coaches voted 20 student-athletes to the 2026 All-Conference Teams. Six of the 20 student-athletes selected were Buccaneers with three of those Bucs being selected for both All-SSC doubles teams and singles teams. This is Barry's second year in a row with six Bucs being selected to the All-Conference teams. Barry landed all three doubles teams on the list, making it the fourth time three double teams have been awarded in the same season, the first since 2018. 

Dana Heimen who is currently ranked at No. 7 was named to the All-SSC First-Team for doubles and singles. Heimen is currently 11-4 for the season in singles, 6-1 in confernce matches, and 11-2 in doubles. The senior went 5-3 in the number one spot and 6-1 in the number two spot. She is 2-1 against nationally ranked opponents and defeated the number one ranked Kristyna Hranacova from the number five ranked Nova Southeastern to help keep the Bucs perfect conference season alive. 

Viktoriia Dema is ranked No. 10 and was named to the All-SSC First-Team for doubles and the All-SSC Second-Team for singles, this is her third consecutive season being named to both teams. Dema has a perfect 14-0 record this season in singles with an 8-0 record in conference play with two of those wins being at the number one spot, four at the number two spot, and 10 being in the number three spot. The Russian also boast a 14-1 record in doubles. 

Ailen Crespo ranked No. 23 was named to the All-ssc First-Team for doubles and the All-SSC Second-Team for singles. Crespo holds and 9-4 record this season and a 5-2 record in conference with a 6-3 record at the number one spot and a 3-1 record in the number two spot. She also holds a 15-3 record for doubles. This is her second year in a row being selected for the All-Conference first team for doubles. 

Louane Lutringer was picked for the All-SSC First-Team in doubles with her partner Crespo. Lutringer has a 15-4 record in doubles for the season and a 7-2 record in conference play. She is currently 6-3 in her last ten games. 

Anastasia Nikolova was named to the All-SSC Second-Team for doubles with her partner Dema. They are currently ranked No. 16 in the nation. Nikolova is 16-3 in doubles overall and 6-2 in conference play. In her last ten matches she has only lost once. 

Jenifer Anger was selected for the All-SSC First-Team for doubles with Heimen. She has a 12-3 record in overall play along with a 5-2 record in the conference. 

The Bucs are coming off a flawless 9-0 season in conference play with a 21-2 overall record. The Bucs have just won their 17th SSC Championship in program history and sixth sweep in the regular season and the championship in a row. The win put the Bucs in the number one seed for the NCAA South Regional and gave them the bye. Barry will host the NCAA South regional and face the winner of the semi-finals match between Mississippi College and West Alabama on Saturday, May 9th at 10:00 am at the Buccaneer Tennis Center, for more information please go to Gobarrybucs.com.
