MIAMI, Fla.- ITA released the women's NCAA Division II Computerized Rankings, featuring updated standings for team, singles, and doubles on Wednesday, April 8th. With the Bucs continuing their run at the number one spot.
RANKINGS
The Buccaneers have remained in the No. 1 spot for the past three weeks. Barry now holds a 17-2 overall record and remains undefeated in conference play at 6-0. In this week's rankings, the Bucs are ahead of Sunshine State Conference opponents Embry-Riddle (No. 3), Nova Southeastern (No. 5), Florida Southern (No. 8), Rollins (No. 9), Lynn (No. 12), and Eckerd (No. 30).
Along with the team rankings, the ITA released its latest singles and doubles standings.
In singles, Dana Heimen remains at No. 8 nationally for the second week in a row. Viktoriia Dema also stays in place at No. 15, while Alina Michalitsch moved to No. 33. Ailen Crespo is also ranked, coming in at No. 50.
In doubles competition, the duo of Louane Lutringer and Crespo is now ranked No. 9 in the nation. Meanwhile, Heimen and Anastasia Nikolova are now in the No. 14 spot.
