MIAMI, Fla.- ITA released the women's NCAA Division II Computerized Rankings, featuring updated standings for team, singles, and doubles on Wednesday, March 25th. With the Bucs continuing their run at the number one spot.
RANKINGS
The Buccaneers have remained in the No. 1 spot in the latest rankings after moving up from Number two last week to Number One. Barry now holds a 14-1 overall record and remains undefeated in conference play at 4-0. In this week's rankings, the Bucs are ahead of Sunshine State Conference opponents Embry-Riddle (No. 3), Nova Southeastern (No. 4), Florida Southern (No. 8), Rollins (No. 13), Lynn (No. 15), Eckerd (No. 23), Tampa (No. 40), and Saint Leo (No. 47).
Along with the team rankings, the ITA released its latest singles and doubles standings.
In singles, Dana Heimen remains at No. 8 nationally. Viktoriia Dema climbed 11 spots to No. 30, while Ailen Crespo made an even bigger jump, rising 25 spots to No. 35. Alina Michalitsch is also ranked, coming in at No. 41.
In doubles competition, the duo of Louane Lutringer and Crespo is now ranked No. 7 in the nation. Meanwhile, Heimen and Anastasia Nikolova moved to the No. 13 spot.
