MIAMI SHORES, Fla.- The Bucs will encounter a busy schedule this spring season with a mix of both old and new as they release the 2026 Barry University women's tennis schedule.
The Buccaneers open the spring season at home against Florida National University on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Buccaneer Tennis Center. The Bucs currently have a five-match win streak against FNU.
The Bucs then face St. Thomas University on Thursday, Feb 5, at home. With a 12-match win streak, the Bucs hope to add on to their streak.
After competing at home for the last two matches, the Buccaneers will travel to Boca Raton, Fla. To compete against division rival Lynn University at the Perper Tennis Complex on Wednesday, Feb 11. The Bucs have been on a winning streak against Lynn since the 2023 season.
That weekend, on Saturday, Feb. 14, the Bucs will travel back home to Miami Shores to face off against Florida Southern University, whom they haven't lost to since the 2006-2007 season.
The following weekend, the Bucs travel to Indianapolis, IN., to compete in the ITA Indoor Championships from Friday. Feb. 20 to Sunday, Feb. 22 at the UIndy Tennis Center.
The Bucs then get a break till Friday, Feb. 27, which is when they will head to Fort Myers, Fla. To play against Florida Gulf Coast University at the FGCU Tennis Complex.
Next, the Buccaneers go to Orlando, Fla., from Wednesday, Mar. 4 to Friday, Mar. 6, where they will compete at the USTA Training Center against Davenport University and Temple University.
The next day, on Saturday, Mar. 7, the Bucs will face Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, Fla., at the Crotty Tennis Complex.
The following week, the Bucs head to West Palm Beach, Fla., on Friday, Mar. 13 to verse Catwaba at Rinker Athletic Campus.
Then, on Monday, Mar. 16, the Buccaneers play Wayne State in Miami Shores, Fla., at the Buccaneer Tennis Center.
The next day, Tuesday, Mar. 17, the Bucs will play Rollins at home in Miami Shores, Fla. The Bucs have not lost to Rollins since the 2007-2008 season.
The Bucs continue playing at home with their next opponent being Valdosta State on Saturday, Mar. 21.
Then the Bucs finish their home stand on Wednesday, Mar. 25, against Keiser University.
After playing their last three matches at home, the Buccaneers will travel to St. Leo, Fla., to compete against Saint Leo at the Saint Leo Tennis Center.
Then, the Bucs head to St. Petersburg, Fla., to play Eckerd at the Fred Bullard Courts on Sunday, Mar. 29.
One Saturday, Apr. 4, the Bucs head back home to play Tampa. The Bucs are currently on a 36-match win streak against Tampa.
Then, the Bucs head to Davie, Fla., to play Nova Southeastern at the NSU Tennis Center on Wednesday, Apr. 8.
To finish out the season the Bucs play at home against Palm Beach Atlantic on Wednesday, Apr. 15.
