LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers men's golf team finished day one of the Matlock Collegiate Classic in fifth place after carding 296-286--582 (+6). The Bucs were paced by Amani D'Ambrosio, who sits tied for second place.
The field consist of 15 teams and 78 players.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs recorded a total of five eagles, which leads all teams.
- Totaled 95 pars and 29 birdies.
- Griffin Steutel was even on par-3 holes, which was good for tied for first among all golfers.
- Amani D'Ambrosio carded -5 on par-4 holes, good for second among all golfers.
- Miikka Makinen and Steutel both recorded two eagles and Albin Ekvall recorded one.
