LAKE JOVITA, Fla.-- The Barry Buccaneers men's golf team finished up play at the Saint Leo Invitational, placing tied for third after carding -14 (282-291-277--850) at the Lake Jovita GC on Tuesday afternoon.
BUCCANEER HIGHLIGHTS:
Miikka Makinen (-6) (68-75-67--210) T-9th Place
- Carded -3 on par-4 holes, tying him for second among all golfers.
- Shot -5 on par-5 holes.
- Totaled 33 pars, 12 birdies and lone Buc to record an eagle.
Albin Ekvall (-4) (67-75-70--212) T-15th Place
- Scored a -2 on par-3 holes, tying for third among all golfers.
- Led Bucs in par-5 scoring (-7), good for tied for fourth among all golfers.
- Recorded 31 pars and 14 birdies.
Hugo Aguilar Puertes (-3) (74-71-68--213) T-17th Place
- Tied for team lead on par-3 scoring, carding a -2.
- Carded -4 on par-5 holes.
- Totaled 36 pars and 12 birdies.
Amani D'Ambrosio (+3) (73-74-72--219) T-46th Place
- Recorded 39 pars to lead Bucs, along with seven birdies.
Giorgio Celani (+5) (76-71-74--221) T-60th Place
- Totaled 31 pars and nine birdies.
