WINTER PARK, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers men's golf started their 2023 Fall campaign at the National Preview, golfing at the Orange County National GC.
After two rounds of the play the Bucs sit in fifth place at +4 (289-291--580).
The Bucs are joined in the field by seven other SSC schools (Nova Southeastern, Lynn, Palm Beach Atlantic, Tampa, Eckerd, Saint Leo and Florida Southern). The field contains a total of nine teams and 52 golfers.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Mikka Makinen, who is playing as an individual, sits in second place at -6.
- Albin Ekvall sits tied for fourth place at -2.
- Barry is -16 on par-5 holes, which ranks them third best.
- Bucs lead field in total pars with 118.
- Barry is one of five teams to record an eagle, Marcus Dahl recorded it on hole four.
