MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Barry university women's tennis team concluded play at the ITA regional championships on Monday. The tournament started on Friday, Sept. 23.
Top-seeded Deniz Khazan won the tournament for the second year in a row and earned an automatic bid to the ITA Cup in Rome, Ga., Oct. 12-16.
Daniela Farfan and Nathalia Gasparin, seeded second despite playing together for the first time, reached the finals, before falling to the top-seeded duo from Nova Southeastern. Farfan also reached the semifinals of the singles draw.
SINGLES
Deniz Khazan won all six of her singles matches.

- Lost 3-6, 6-4, 8-10 to Claudia Borbon Roca (Saint Leo)
