Box Score 2 ST. LEO, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost 8-7 in Sunshine State Conference baseball action at Saint Leo on Saturday night. Game one of the schedule doubleheader was postponed due to weather until Sunday.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Bennetti took the loss in his fifth appearance. He allowed eight runs on five hits and four walks and struck out six.
- Daniel Fregio (4-1) worked 5.1 innings, allowing six runs on nine hits and a walk to earn the win.
- Jones gave up a run on Stella's double in the ninth, but earned his fourth save.
- Sanches was 3-for-4 and scored three runs to lead Barry at the plate. Baldo added two hits, Abreu had two runs and Noriega drove in a pair.
