ROME, Ga. -- All three women's tennis participants advanced to the ITA Cup quarterfinals on Thursday at the Rome Tennis Center.

SINGLES:

First-seeded Deniz Khazan defeated Sanne Selmer Gilje of Adelphi 6-0, 6-1 in the round of 16. Khazan will play Marta Vicens Miquel tomorrow in the quarterfinals. 

DOUBLES:

The Bucs women's doubles team of Daniela Farfan and Nathalia Gasparin completed a big upset over two-seeded doubles team of Sofiia Sharonova and Anna Novikova from Indianapolis, 6-3, 3-6, [10-5]. Farfan and Gasparin will face Madison Kane and Eleonora Liga of Azusa Pacific tomorrow in the quarterfinals.
