MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—Barry University men's basketball coach Butch Estes announced the signing of Oteman (OT) Delancy. The 6-5 wing player is the second signee in the class.
"A long athletic player with really good skills," Estes describes Delancey. "He can do it all on the court: handle, pass, shoot, defend. We're very excited to see how he develops, but he has a chance to help us right away."
Delancey is a 6-5, 195-pound wing from Lakewood High in St. Petersburg, Fla., where he helped lead the Spartans to a 60-13 record over the last three years, including a pair of final four appearances in the state tournament. As a senior, he averaged 27.5 points and 9.3 rebounds, earning First-Team All-PCAC (Pinellas County Athletic Conference). He was also All-PCAC South as a junior.
"I chose Barry because I really liked the campus and the coaches showed a lot of interest in me," Delancy said. "It just seemed like a great school to attend."
