MIAMI SHORES, Fla. --Barry University, the Buccaneer Athletic Department and the women's tennis program would like to take this opportunity to recognize our 2020 seniors: Jil Engelmann and Eleonore Barrere.

Engelmann is a two-time letterwinner for the Buccaneers. A member of both the 2019 NCAA Division II National Championship team and the 2020 ITA Indoor National Champions, she holds a 29-1 record in singles and won the ITA South Region singles title in the fall of 2019. She was recognized as an ITA All-American for her efforts in 2020. A graduate student at Barry, she was named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll both seasons.

Another graduate student, Barrere is also a two-time letterwinner for the Bucs. Also a member of both the 2019 NCAA Division II National Championship team and the 2020 ITA Indoor National Champions, she forged a 19-3 singles record. She was an ITA Scholar All-American and a member of the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll both years.
