MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—Both the men's and women's basketball teams host the Saint Leo Lions on Saturday for Senior Day in another Sunshine State Conference showdown. The women's game starts at 5:30 pm and the men follow at 7:30 pm.

The Bucs (8-18, 5-14 SSC) fell 66-65 at Nova Southeastern on Wednesday. Ashleigh Pink and Nerea Baena each had 18 points, while Harriet Swindells added 14. Charlotte Armstrong had a career-high 12 rebounds.
The Bucs started the season without any seniors, but Melanie Jordan was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA. Since she was recognized in last season's Senior Day the Bucs will not repeat the ceremony.
The Lions (14-13, 10-9 SSC) lost 74-60 to Eckerd on Wednesday. Amanda Ulrich led all players with 24 points. Alani Gallagher added 14 and Gina Bierley 11.

The men (18-8, 12-7 SSC) are coming off a 91-87 loss at Nova Southeastern on Wednesday. Tylan Birts led Barry with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Jake Kakar added 21 points, while Toru Dean had 11 and Evan Walshe 10.
The Bucs will recognize six seniors in a ceremony before the game, including team manager Jonathan Nunez, Birts, Walshe, David Moya, Johannes Dolven and Leandro Allende.
Nunez joined the Buccaneers during the 2016-17 season after prepping at Mater Academy. Nunez played in 17 games during his two-year career helping the Bucs go 46-16. In 2017-18 Barry had a magical season which included a road win over Auburn University and reaching the Elite 8. The last two seasons Nunez has assisted the coaching staff with video duties, aiding in travel logistics, and assistance in scouting as well as assistance in player development. He is scheduled to graduate in 2020 with a degree in Sport Management.
Allende is an NCAA Division I transfer from the Citadel that has helped the Bucs go 36-19 during his two-year career. He had a season-high 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting vs Florida Tech on December 30th, 2018. In January, he was drafted by the Santeros de Aguada who won the 2019 championship for the Baloncesto Superior de Puerto Rico league and will start his professional career after the spring semester is over. He is scheduled to graduate in 2020 with a degree in Business Management.
Dolven is a three-year letterman that transferred from Drake – another Division I school and has played in 85 games for the Buccaneers. His junior year, he recorded a career-high 22 points on the road against Lynn. This season, he has recorded five double-doubles and set personal records in rebounds, field goals made and attempted and minutes. In his career, he has been named to the Dean's list and the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. He graduated in the fall of 2019 with a degree in Advertising and is now pursuing an MBA.
Walshe is a four-year letter winner that is tied for 10th all-time in games played with 106. During his career, he has helped Barry record an 82-33 with an Elite 8 appearance in 2017-18. He has connected on a career-high 26 three-pointers this season that ranks second-most on the team. He has been named to the Dean's list, the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and is scheduled to graduate in 2020 with a degree in Business Marketing.
Moya has played in 111 games for sixth most in program history comes into today with 301 assists which is fifth most in Buccaneer history. In 2014 he was a member of Puerto Rico's U17 National Team that participated and ended in 5th place in the U17 FIBA World Championship in Dubai. He has been named to the Dean's list, the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and graduated in the fall of 2019 with a degree in Business Management. He is currently pursuing an MBA.
Birts has had a breakout season for the Bucs in 2019-2020. He leads the team in points, field goal percentage, rebounds, blocks and steals. During his two-year career he has started in all 55 games played and has been named the SSC Player of the Week three times. He was named to the 2018-2019 SSC Newcomer Team. He is 34 points away from becoming just the second Buccaneer to record 1,000 points in two years with the program. He has been named to the Athletic Directors list, the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and graduated in the fall of 2019 with a degree in Broadcast and Emerging Media. He is currently pursuing an MBA.
The Lions (15-12, 9-10 SSC) lost at homer 88-80 to Eckerd on Wednesday. Kyran McClure led five Lions in double figures with 17 points. Isaiah Hill also had 17 points, Coomer Wade added 16, Yalen Reed 13 and Rusty Moorer had 11.
