Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. -- The No. 24-ranked Barry Buccaneers lost to No. 9-ranked Florida Southern 97-80 inside the Jenkins Field House on Saturday night. The Bucs last two games have come against two Top-10 opponents after playing Nova Southeastern (No. 8) on Wednesday.

SUMMARY:
- Barry trailed by one at with the score 17-16 halfway through the first period. The Mocs then went on a 18-6 to go up 35-22, capitalizing on 13 Buccaneer turnovers, scoring 18 points off Buc turnover. Several of those came in transition, with the Mocs ending the half with 27 fast break points.
- Tylan Birts was the only Buccaneer in double-figures at halftime with 11 points and nine rebounds.
