MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The 29th-ranked Barry Buccaneers visit the Eckerd Tritons at the Turley Athletic Complex this weekend in a three-game Sunshine State Conference baseball series.
The Bucs, 20-8, 9-6 and third place in the SSC, are playing their first conference games on the road since opening up the season with back-to-back series at Nova Southeastern and Florida Southern. The Tritons, 17-11 8-7 and fifth place in the league, are starting a six-game home stand.
Both teams dropped their conference series last week. The Bucs were swept by top-ranked Tampa, while Eckerd lost two of three to Rollins. The Bucs bounced back, beating Nova Southeastern 8-7 after trailing 7-1. The Tritons did not play mid-week.
