MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Barry Buccaneers open the 2019 season against the Tusculum College Pioneers on Friday at 1:00 pm at Feinbloom Field.
The Bucs finished 22-28 last season and 9-21 in the Sunshine State Conference. The Pioneers wer 25-27 in 2018, 13-14 in the South Atlantic Conference. Andrew Rapoza was named second-team Preseason All-South Region after batting .352 with 10 doubles, four homers, 45 runs scored and 16 stolen bases out of the leadoff slot for the Bucs. First-Team All-SAC members outfielder Jarel McDade and second baseman Daulton Martin are back for the 2019 season for the Pioneers.
