MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- An ominous sky crept over the diminutive campus' tennis courts with the match in the balance Sunday afternoon.
It couldn't have been a more telling sign.
The ballyhooed No. 1 versus No. 1 matchup between NCAA Division II's Barry (19-0) and NAIA's Keiser (18-2) was washed out due to light rain with the Bucs leading 4-3, and a pair of two third-set singles matches still in progress.
The two coaches agreed to call off the match after the rain.
Barry will host Palm Beach Atlantic 3 p.m. Thursday.
