ROME, Ga. -- Barry's Verena Schmid and Zuza Maciejewska advanced to the finals of the ITA Oracle Cup with a dominant 6-0, 6-4 win over a freshman combo from Indianapolis in Nikol Alexeeva and Anya Novikova at the Rome Tennis Center on Friday.

SUMMARY:
- The second-seeded Bucs took the match in straight sets to advance to the finals
- Barry's duo will face Beatriz Lopez and Marleen Tilgner, the fourth-seeded duo from Columbus University, in the regional final.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Schmid and Maciejewska are looking to become the third Barry team to win the ITA national doubles title. Ildiko Csordas and Ana Maria Zuleta won in 2005, while Emma Onila and Linda Fritschken won back to back in 2013 and 2014.
