MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Buccaneers host the Florida Tech Panthers on Saturday in the second of three straight home Sunshine State Conference games. The women tip off at 2:00 pm, followed by the men at 4:00 pm.

Barry is 11-3, 4-2 in the SSC after beating the Saint Leo Lions 72-54 on Wednesday. The win got the Bucs back on the plus side. They have now won nine of their last ten.
Kiara Palmer leads the Bucs in scoring (15.6), rebounding (10.7), shooting (55.6) and blocked shots (2.9). The 6-0 senior has posted seven double-doubles this season. Barbara Cousiño is chipping in 14.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and a team-high 2.7 assists. She leads the conference in free throw shooting at 89.8 percent. Ida Andersson is third in scoring (10.4) and second in rebounding (5.4). Stephane Granada is second in assists (2.6) and fifth in scoring (7.6).
The Panthers (6-6, 3-3 SSC) fell to the Florida Southern Mocs on Wednesday 80-57.
DeLise Williams leads the Panthers at 12.4 points per game. The 5-4 guard is also second on the team in rebounding (5.1). Gracie Doane is the only other Panther in double figures (11.3). Kailyn Ebb leads the team in rebounding (6.4), while Gudlaug Juliusdottir paces them in assists (3.5).
GAME NOTES:
- Florida Tech leads the all-time series 41-27, though the Bucs have won four of the last nine. Last season, the teams split the series, with each winning at home. Florida tech prevailed in Melbourne 68-60, while Barry got revenge 67-61 in Miami Shores.
- Despite leading the conference in made three-pointers at 9.2 per game, the Bucs average 26.1 points per game in the paint and 11.2 on second-chance opportunities
- Barry averages 21.9 points per game off the bench, compared to just 12.1 per game for the opponents
- While the Bucs lead the league, the Panthers are last in made three-pointers at 4.2 per game. Barry's top two shooters, Harriet Swindells and Ida Andersson combine for 4.5 made treys per game.
- Despite not having a player ranked in the top-10 of the league in rebounding (Ebb is 11th), the Panthers lead the conference in offensive rebounding (15.4 per game) and rebounding margin (+8.0)
- Barry is first in the league in defensive rebounding (30.2)

Elvar Fridriksson is second in the league in scoring (22.2). He has scored 20 or more points in seven straight games. Daniel Mortensen is tied for the league lead in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.4). He ranks sixth in the SSC in rebounding (7.8), and has led the Buccaneers in rebounds in the past four games. He is scoring 11.4 points per game. Sawyer Glick is averaging 13.8 points per game, but has been held to six or fewer the last three games. Johannes Dolven is averaging 10.9 points and 5.7 boards per game. He's scored in double figures in two of the past three games. Sunday Dech is averaging 13.5 points and 6.5 rebounds.
Florida Tech (6-8, 1-5 SSC) has lost its past two games. The Panthers fell to Florida Southern, 89-75, on Wednesday.
