MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's women's tennis team picked up an 8-1 win over Florida State College in an exhibition match Saturday at Buccaneer Tennis Center.

- Barry swept the doubles. Carolin Schmidt and Sonja Larsen beat Yuliana Monroy and Sarah Monseri, 8-2, at No. 1 pairs. Verena Schmid and Julie Razafindranaly defeated Dugleisy Linarez and Shada Nickle, 8-1, at No. 2 doubles. Hannah Seizer and Judith Bohnenkamp completed the sweep with an 8-2 win over Jamie Duque and Elizabeth Othmer at the No. 3 spot.
- Schmidt beat Monroy, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 1 singles. Larsen was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Linarez at No. 2. Seizer beat Monseri, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 3.
- Razafindranaly defeated Duque, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 4 singles. Bohnenkamp defeated Nickle, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 5.
- The Titans picked up their lone point at No. 6 singles as Othmer outlasted Mara Cerrini, 6-3, 4-6, 10-5.
