MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Baseball travels back to Davie, Florida to take on the Sharks of Nova Southeastern in a three-game weekend conference series. The Bucs already played the Sharks in one of the beginning few games of the season.
Barry (15-16, 2-4 SSC) last met with Nova (20-10, 8-4 SSC) on Feb. 5 in Davie, where they brought the Sharks into extra innings, but fell short in the end. The Bucs were tied 7-7 with the then ranked #1 team in the country, but in the 11th inning, the Sharks stole the show with a walk-off single to bring in the winning run.
The Bucs currently take the seventh spot in the league standings, while Nova sits in third behind Tampa (21-7, 8-1 SSC), who is in first followed by Florida Southern (22-6, 6-3 SSC), who is in second.
