MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Barry University's sixth-ranked women's tennis team won its eighth match of the season and second in the Sunshine State Conference to cap a two-match weekend road trip Sunday with its victory over host Florida Tech.
The Buccaneers remained perfect in singles and doubles play this season.

SUMMARY:
- The Buccaneers improved to 24-0 in doubles matches this season after sweeping all three spots Sunday. Barry's No. 3 pairs team of Judith Bohnenkamp and Mara Cerrini endured a test from Erin Ergoroff and Paloma Vela before prevailing, 8-6. It was the Bucs tandem's first match together.
- No. 18-ranked Dasha Salnikova and No. 22 Sonja Larsen both won their Nos. 2 and 3 singles matches, each claiming the first set, 6-3, to improve to a combined 13-0. Â
- Zuza Maciejewska won her fifth No. 1 singles match of the season to improve to 6-0. Isabel Rapisarda Calvo and Judith Bohnenkamp also improved to 6-0 in singles.
- Barry won the top two doubles positions by 8-1 scores.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Avi Kigel moved within two wins of 200 in his Barry career.Â
- Larsen collected her 40th career singles victory. That ranks tied for 20th in school history.Â
- The Bucs used their eighth and ninth different doubles combinations of the season Sunday. Rapisarda Calvo and Larsen paired for the No. 2 doubles win.
