MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's women's tennis team were able to complete one round of doubles during day one of the BarryU Invite at the Buccaneer Tennis Center, before rain halted the continuation of competition for the day.

The remainder of the second round will be played tomorrow morning, with finals to follow. Two rounds of singles will take place at the conclusion of doubles.

SUMMARY:

• Mara Cerrini and Zuza Maciejewska advanced to the second round of the tournament in flight A, due to a BYE in the first round.

ON THE HORIZON:

The Bucs wrap up competition at the BarryU Invite tomorrow. Doubles action will resume at 8:30 a.m.
