MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Buccaneers know what is at stake Saturday.

A win will put 10th-ranked Barry in the driver's seat in the Sunshine State Conference race. A loss will just make the rest of the season's race that much spicier each and every game.

Barry (16-2, 9-2 SSC) hosts Eckerd (14-5, 7-3) at 4 p.m. Saturday in a game that will air on the Buccaneer Broadcast Network. 

Eckerd is receiving votes in both the national media and coaches polls. The Bucs outlasted the Tritons in double overtime three weeks ago in St. Petersburg in a matchup of two Top 25 teams. Last year, the Bucs and Tritons shared the SSC regular season title. Eckerd won the SSC Tournament championship game.

This is the first of three straight Saturday games at the Health & Sports Center.
