MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's sixth-ranked men's basketball team will play at Tampa 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The game will air on the Spartans Network on a pay-per-view basis. Barry will provide a free radio broadcast on the Buccaneers Broadcast Network.

The Buccaneers (14-1, 7-1 Sunshine State Conference) have won eight in a row. The Spartans (12-5, 5-3) have dropped their past two. Barry has won just once at the Martinez Center since Butch Estes took over as coach. That win came last season.

Estes and his Tampa counterpart Richard Smith have combined to win 1,180 games in their four-decade-long careers.

The last time these two teams met, former Buccaneer Tray Leonard recorded the first triple-double in Barry history, setting a school record for blocks (12).

Tampa has four players averaging in double figures, with another just short of the scoring benchmark at 9.9 points per game. Barry has five players scoring in double figures.

Wednesday's game is the first of two on the road this week for the Buccaneers, who return home Jan. 25 to host Florida Tech. Barry will play at Nova Southeastern in Davie, Fla., Saturday at 4 p.m.
