MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry baseball gets back to the action after a quick turnaround as it takes in Saint Thomas Aquinas, Monday night.
After winning the series against Embry-Riddle this past weekend, the Buccaneers return to Feinbloom Field for a rare Monday night game against a Spartans team that comes in at 7-3 on the season with its last outing being a 13-5 win over Bloomfield.
The Spartans come in with several playmakers at bat. Nicholas Gargan leads the team with 17 hits, 11 RBI, four doubles and three homeruns. Giovanni Dingcong is second on the team with 16 hits nine RBI and three doubles.
On the mound, junior RHP Anthony Morris leads STA with a 0.45 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 20.0 IP. Senior RHP Matt Kostalos is second with a 1.80 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 15.0 IP.
The Bucs can finish up their long series of home games with a win tonight before heading on the road for two consecutive weekends. First pitch is slated for 6 pm.Â
