MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- After a week of matchups that saw it go undefeated in all five games, Barry baseball returns to the field this weekend against Embry-Riddle.

The Bucs went 5-0 last week against Division II foes Chestnut Hill and AIC, and now face an Eagles squad that stands at 14-6 on the year after beating Assumption 9-1 on Tuesday.

This is the first matchup between the teams since 2008, a 6-5 Barry win, and only the third ever meeting of the two programs.

Threats at the plate for ERAU include Kyle Zirbes, who leads the team with a .414 BA, 29 hits and eight doubles, Jonathan Camp, who has a team-leading 20 RBI and three homeruns, and Joshua Garcia, who is second on the team with 18 RBI.

On the mound, the Eagles will rely on senior RHP Corey Tufts, who is 4-1 on the year with a 2.50 ERA and 40 strikeouts, junior RHP Kenny Buckhead, who has a record of 3-1 with a 3.09 ERA and 20 strikeouts, and freshman RHP Nick Dearing, who is 3-1 this season with a 3.95 ERA and 16 strikeouts.
