MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry baseball returns home this week after their first away series as they take on NCAA Division II opponent, Chestnut Hill on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Buccaneers return to Miami Shores and will play in their first midweek series of the season against a Griffins team that is still early in their season, playing in just four games so far.

Chestnut Hill comes in 1-3 so far on the season with their last outing being a 7-6 loss to Stonehill College. 

Threats on the Griffins roster include junior outfielder Joseph Monaghan, who leads the team with seven hits and a .438 BA, while junior shortstop Jonathan Baturgil leads the team in RBI with five.

Sophomore infielder Alec Craig and Baturgil lead the team with assists with 14 and 12, respectively.

On the mound, Chestnut Hill may rely on sophomores Patrick Kelly and Matthew Kress, who leads the team with five strike outs each.
