MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's No. 4-ranked women's tennis team opens the season 3 p.m. Wednesday versus No. 39 Palm Beach Atlantic at Buccaneer Tennis Center.
Admission is free for all fans.
The Bucs are coming off an NCAA runner-up finish a year ago, and return three All-Americans from that team in
Ana Pain,
Sonja Larsen and
Emma Onila.
Kimmy Twelker is also back for her fourth season at Barry.Â
The Sailfish are 2-2 this season.Â
Pain, pronounced "Pawn," is ranked No. 4 in the country in singles. Larsen is No. 11 and Onila is No. 12. Larsen and Pain are No. 20 in doubles. Twelker and Onila are No. 24.
