MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's basketball team has a stern test 4 p.m. Saturday when Embry-Riddle visits the Health & Sports Center.
The Buccaneers (10-2) have not met the Eagles (10-2) since 1990 when Embry-Riddle was an NAIA school. This year the Eagles are beginning their first year at the NCAA Division II level.

This matchup features two of the most productive offensive teams in the South Region. Embry-Riddle is averaging 90.7 points per game. Barry is scoring 92.1. Both teams are averaging just over 43 rebounds and 19 assists per game.
Forward Ognjen Miljkovic leads the Eagles in scoring (16.7) and rebounding (7.9). Guard Reed Ridder is averaging 15 points and 4.3 assists, and guard Dalton Barnes is averaging 14.4 points and shooting 87 percent from the free throw line. They are three of six players on the Eagles roster scoring in double figures.

Tray Leonard is averaging 8.8 points and 7.7 rebounds. Both Barrueta and Leonard have 16 blocks this season.
The Buccaneers received votes in the coaches and media polls this week.
Barry will complete its three-game homestand 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when it hosts Nova Southeastern.Â
