No. 24/15 Men's Basketball Plays at Lynn Saturday

Buccaneers trying to close gap in series

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's basketball team will play at Lynn 4 p.m. Saturday.

The No. 24/15 Buccaneers (14-3, 7-2 Sunshine State Conference) are coming off one of their biggest wins of the season Wednesday. Lynn (10-8, 4-6) has won its past two. Barry trails the all-time series by two games. The Bucs have won the last three in Boca Raton.

Saturday's game will be broadcast on the Fighting Knights Network and available on Live Stats. 

Lynn has held its last four opponents to 79.7 points per game. Barry has held its last two opponents to 64 points per game. The Bucs are scoring 92.6 points per game, which ranks seventh in the nation. The Fighting Knights are scoring In the first meeting, the two teams combined for 210 points. 

This game features the top two point guards in the league in Barry's Elvar Fridriksson (8.4 assists per game) and Lynn's Russell Wilson (6.5 apg). Fridriksson moved into Barry's top seven season leaders in assists. He needs 80 to break Deric Hill's school record of 221 set last year.
