No. 23 Men's Basketball Hosts Nova Southeastern 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Night

Bucs cap three-game homestand

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry will complete its three-game homestand Wednesday night when the Buccaneers host Nova Southeastern at 7:30 p.m.

The game will be carried on the Buccaneers Broadcast Network. Live Stats are also available. 

The Buccaneers (11-2, 4-1 Sunshine State Conference) crept into the national coaches and media polls this week after a five-week exodus. Barry is ranked No. 23 in both polls, released Tuesday.

Nova Southeastern (5-7, 1-3) is 0-3 on the road this year. Barry is 7-0 at home. 

This game features two of the top scorers in the league. Barry's Yunio Barrueta leads the SSC with a 25.5 points per game average. He ranks fourth in the country in scoring. Nova's Chris Page is averaging 20.1 per game. Bucs sophomore point guard Elvar Fridriksson is leading the nation in assists per game (8.2). The Bucs are second in the country in assists per game (19.9).

Barry is coming off a school-record 120 points on Saturday. The Bucs rank fifth in the country in scoring.
