MIAMI SHORES, FL--Barry baseball finishes off its most-played series of the season as they take on Palm Beach Atlantic for the fifth time, Tuesday night.
The Bucs have gone 1-3 in the series against the Sailfish, defeating the local rival 9-4 in West Palm Beach on February 10 and getting swept in a three-game series back on February 20 and 21.
The Bucs look to get back in the series but will have several challenges waiting for them. At the plate, PBA has a number of players that could cause problems for Barry.
Senior third-baseman Chris Farrell leads the team with a .411 batting average, 22 RBI and three homeruns. Sophomore shortstop Sean Visconti leads the team with 39 hits while racking up a .365 batting average.
On the mound, the Sailfish could turn to junior RHP Josh Turner, who leads the team in strikeouts with 50 in 43.1 IP or freshman RHP Kyle Polaski, who leads the team with a 2.51 era in 32.1 and a 3-1 record.
A win tonight for the Bucs could prove a launching pad for the rest of the season as they begin the final stretch which includes road series versus Georgia College, Eckerd, Florida Southern and Nova Southeastern. Â
