Baseball Jolted By PBA

The Bucs struggled on the mound and offensively versus Sailfish

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.—Midweek games have been a point of strength for Barry baseball this season but tonight they were not as lucky as they fell to Palm Beach Atlantic 11-3.

The Buccaneers were prolific at-bat with 12 hits from 10 different batters. Will Walker and Ramon Valdez led the team with two hits, respectively.

All these hits were bittersweet as the Bucs left 14 men on base in the game. The Bucs also hurt themselves on the field as they committed three errors.

On the mound, the Bucs had four pitchers strikeout 11 batters on the night while allowing 11 hits.

The Bucs now stand at 14-13 and PBA improves to 16-9.

Up next for Barry is a trip up to Milledgeville, GA to take on Georgia College in a three-game series with first pitch at 6 pm on March 27.
