Led the team in doubles...third on the team in home runs and RBI...Named to the Dean's List for the fall of 2015...Named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team for 2015...Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for Spring 2015...Named to the Dean's List for the fall of 2015.

JUNIOR (2015): Started 46 of the 47 games he played in...Accumulated 50 hits, 34 runs, and 18 RBI...Had a team-leading 15 doubles...Named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team...Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for Spring 2015.

SOPHOMORE (2014): Started in 35 of the 37 games played in...Batted .303...Had 32 hits,eight doubles, and three homeruns...Had 28 rbi...Second on team in slugging percentage at .533...Second on team in putouts with 86...Had 17 assists.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Transferred from Parkland College where he played in 49 games, including 38 starts for the Cobras… Helped guide the Cobras to a 34-23 record batting .343 with seven doubles, three triples, two home runs and 38 RBI. Displayed great discipline at the plate, walking 38 times to boast a .478 on-base-percentage.  Competed in the Ohio Valley Collegiate Baseball League during the summer where he hit .363 for the Railroaders in 29 games. Compiled 29 hits, eight doubles, one triple, three homers, scored 24 runs and finished with 23 RBI. Completed the summer with 30 walks to finish with a .560 on-base-percentage.

PERSONAL: Son of Ramon and Susan Valdez…Has a younger brother Roberto…Majoring in exercise physiology.
