MIAMI SHORES, FL--After a disappointing series which saw them go 1-2 versus Rollins, Barry baseball looks to bounce back as they take on Adelphi in a single game, Tuesday night.
The Panthers are the third Northeast-10 team on the Bucs' schedule this year. Bucs went 5-0 in series against the other NE-10 schools: Southern Connecticut State and Felician.
But the Bucs will not underestimate Adelphi as the Panthers still have several threats at the plate and on the mound.
Senior infielder Vincent Sharkey leads the team with a .588 batting average, four runs and 10 hits. He's also tied for first in RBI (3), with freshman catcher Kory Cassara. Cassara also leads the team in total bases with 12.
Pitching-wise, the Panthers may look to junior RHP Jonathan Mulford, who has five strikeouts in 5.0 IP or freshman RHP Michael Tarpey, who also has five strikeouts but in 6.0 IP.
First pitch is slated for 6 pm.Â
