MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's basketball team will host No. 29 Rollins 4 p.m. Saturday to begin the second half of the season.
The Buccaneers (8-2, 2-1 Sunshine State Conference) are 5-0 at home this season. The Tars (9-3, 2-1) have lost three in a row after winning their first nine games to earn a spot in the Top 10. Barry received 11 votes in this week's national poll.

Barry swept the season series from Rollins last year, but the Tars own the all-time series, 46-19.Â
The Tars are holding opponents to 71.6 points per game. The Bucs are averaging a league-best 92.6 points per game, which ranks ninth in the country. Barry also ranks ninth in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (31.20), but the Bucs were outrebounded, 44-34, in their last game on Dec. 19.
Rollins leads the nation in free throw shooting (83.3).
Rollins' Sharif Almulla is averaging 15.7 points per game, and Jeff Merton is scoring 15 points per game. Barry's

This game signals the first of three home games for the Bucs over the next two weeks. Barry will also host Embry-Riddle at 4 p.m. Jan. 9 and Nova Southeastern at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 13.
