MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry handed eventual national champion Florida Southern its only loss a year ago -- in Lakeland. The No. 7/24 Buccaneers return to Jenkins Field House 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for a chance to win in Moccasin territory again.
Barry, which is ranked No. 7 in the Division II media poll and No. 24 in the coaches poll, will meet the Moccasins (0-2) on the road to open the Sunshine State Conference season. The Buccaneers (1-0) are coming off a 40-point win over Florida Memorial.

Florida Southern lost its entire starting five from last year's team, and have a new coach in Mike Donnelly, who guided Southern Connecticut State to the Elite Eight in 2014. Dylan Travis has averaged 26 points per game in the Mocs first two contests. Michael Volovic is scoring 11 points and Sheldon Zablotny 10.5 per game.Â
