Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers rolled over the St. Thomas Bobcats 8-4 at Feinbloom Field Tuesday night.
Barry (24-14) swapped leads with the Bobcats (28-10) over the first four innings, but scored five runs in the seventh and eighth for the win.
Fausto Faraldo went 4-for-5 and drove in three runs to pace the Bucs' attack.
Keith Barton added two hits and two runs, while
Alex Meneses added a pair of runs. Armando Fernandez went 2-for-3 with a two run homer for the Bobcats.
Greg Dicso (2-1) picked up the win in relief of starter
Chris Casale, with 2.1 innings of perfect ball, striking out three. Casale gave the Bucs a solid effort, going 6.2 innings and allowing four runs (two earned) on eight hits with three strikeouts.
Luis Valenzuela (1-2) took the loss for the Bobcats, pitching five innings in relief and allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits and four walks, striking out eight.
The teams will play at St. Thomas' Esposito Stadium at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, Apr. 7 in a makeup of a rainout on Feb. 25.
